The Batting Club Basic rules and Regulations
1. Safety Rules
- Protective Gear: Always wear appropriate protective gear (helmet, pads, gloves, etc.), especially when facing fast bowling or using a hard cricket ball.
- Ball Type: Use the type of ball specified by the facility (e.g., tennis, rubber, or leather cricket ball) to match the safety requirements.
- No Swinging Bats Outside Lanes: Practice your shots only inside the designated lane to avoid injuring others.
- Bowling Speed Limits: Bowlers should adhere to the speed limits set by the facility for safety, particularly when junior players are present.
- Supervision: Children must be always supervised by an adult or coach.
2. Lane Usage Rules
- Booking Time: Adhere to your booked time slot. Vacate the lane promptly to allow the next group to start on time.
- Player Limit: Respect the maximum number of players allowed in a single lane, usually 2-6 people, depending on the facility.
- Respect Boundaries: Stay within your designated practice lane. Do not interfere with adjacent lanes. Every Net should be moved back to its place and hooked after usage.
- Cleanliness: Remove any equipment, trash, or personal belongings after your session. A 100$ charge will be applied if the lane or the surroundings are not kept clean or if any the garbage is not picked.
3. Facility Rules
- Footwear: Wear non-marking sports shoes to protect the floor surface. Cleats or spikes are not allowed.
- Ball Retrieval: Avoid climbing nets or barriers to retrieve balls. Notify staff if assistance is needed.
- No Food or Drinks: We have an absolutely no outside food policy.
- Damage Responsibility: Customers are responsible for any damage caused to nets, equipment, or facilities due to negligence and will be charge accordingly for the damages.
4. Payment and Cancellations
- Fees: Pay all fees before using the facility. Late payments may result in loss of booking.
- Cancellations: We have a zero-cancellation policy, any lane booked cannot be cancelled or cannot be used for the future use.
5. Special Instructions
- Use of Bowling Machines: If using a bowling machine, ensure proper setup and operation under the supervision of staff or a coach. Collect the machine balls after usage and leave the bucket back at the register.
- Training Aids: Inform staff before using personal training aids like cones, stumps, or resistance bands.
6. Emergency Protocols
- Injuries: Notify staff immediately in case of an injury. First aid kits are typically available.
- Fire Exits: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures.
